Jess is a Wanderer | The Island of Sark

I have so much to share about the bailiwick of Guernsey but first things first, my favourite island - Sark. I don't want to say too much so I'll let this video do the talking:

Sark is an island off the coast of France with a population of hundreds, not thousands. There are no cars and no real roads. If you want to get around, you'll need to rely on your own legs, a horse and cart, a bicycle or a little tractor. Even the doctor collects patients in need using a tractor!

It's a fabulous little community that makes me feel like I'm featuring in 'The Wind in the Willows' every time I visit. Ratty or Mole could pop up at any given moment and I wouldn't be surprised at all. The locals are friendly, the alcohol is cheap and the views are on a par with some of the most exotic places I've travelled to around the world. Visiting isn't possible at this time but from the 1st of July, if you've had two jabs, the doors are open!
