September ended and October brought in two glorious weeks of school holidays. Jess is a Wanderer travelled south from Waimate to The Catlins, caught up with a friend in Invercargill, climbed the track at Lake Hauroko, spent a couple of days exploring in Queenstown and then did some day-trips around Canterbury.
With penguins, sea lions, mountains, the coast, lighthouses and a range of weather from spring-time sunshine to fully snowy blizzards it was a fantastic trip. Can't wait for the next adventure.
