Singapore Sling

Jess is a Wanderer travelled to the future - or at least it felt like it during a visit to Singapore. The entry into the country was quite the fiasco but after that it was a magical whirlwind adventure of bright lights and city sights.

Turkish Delight

Turkey is a really wonderful country. With amazing natural rocky landscapes in the north and the fabulous city of Istanbul separating Europe from Asia, as well as sunbathing beach resorts, it really has something for every interest. Turkey is a clash of cultures, food and traditions which makes it a diverse and fascinating place to visit.

Beirut: The Paris of the Middle East

Beirut is the capital of Lebanon and a real cosmopolitan city. With the corniche stretching out alongside the Mediterranean Sea it makes a beautiful place day or night. Day trips from the city offer a great opportunity to see more of Lebanon's amazing natural landscapes and harbours. I would return to Lebanon in a flash!

Petra Rocks

Petra lay undiscovered in the mountains of Jordan's Wadi Rum for an incredible amount of time before being discovered by a Swiss explorer in 1812. Now, the site is open and ready for further exploration between the rocks and caves that stretch over the 260 square kilometre area.

A Snippet of Cambodia

If you haven't heard of Angkor Wat in Cambodia's Siem Reap district, you need to find out! It's the world's largest religious complex and a UNESCO world heritage site. Click below to see more about this ancient wonder.

Two Weeks in Thailand

Thailand is a mix of beaches, mountains and rainforest. Whether you're looking for a sunshine getaway or an adrenaline rush, this place has it all.

A Vietnamese Adventure

I left Cambodia and headed to Vietnam with no idea what to expect. I ended up staying a month and travelling from south to north by motorcycle, bus and boat. A real adventure across this little-known gem of a country.
