Whangamata Beach

Whilst standing at the base of a waterfall on an overcast day around two hours south of Auckland, I met a photographer called Adam. Two weeks later, on his advice, I was getting in my car at 3:30am and driving 2.5 hours north to a tiny beach town called Whangamata for one of the most spectacular sunrises I've had the privilege of seeing!
