Lihou Island
At one point last year, Lihou was as far away as you could get from Guernsey without having to quarantine, have a Covid test or wear a mask. Connected to the main island of Guernsey by a causeway, it's a fascinating place with an equally fascinating history.
Circumnavigating the island takes about half an hour but with wildlife to watch, the Venus pool to swim in and historic ruins to read about, you can easily spend an afternoon there.
